New accident-prone area..WATCH OUT Ladies

Hi again.
Anyways, I just want to share with you all one funny story which actually happened to a family friend of mine. What happened was, she was driving along the Damansara highway. And from Damansara Intan, she headed towards Kuala Lumpur (just after Eastin Hotel)...then...there was a new, huge GAP billboard featuring Ken Watanabe (not sure if it's still there or not)....but it almost caused her to hit the car in front of her.

... Here was what she said, "He looks so hem-som".

So ladies, please watch out. That is a new accident prone area. But if it was to happen to me, it would be the GAP ad which has John Mayer on it. Hehe :p

The one that got her eyes off the road

The one that will get me distracted

Enjoy these view of gorgeous creations we have on this planet...(I'm sure there are many more, only to name a few here).

Eventful Festive Season

Hi all!

So what's up? How was Hari Raya? How was your weekend? I'm sure most of you are filled up well with all the "rendangs" and delicacies served. I know I did. I ate like ... I've never eaten for the whole month. Well, I hope everyone had a great holiday.

Anyways, while this festive season is going on, there were few tragic & happy events that had happened. There was the ferry which caught fire on the way to Tioman Island from Mersing. Feel so sorry for the families of those who had lost their lives in this tragedy. Oh, and not to forget, our very own 1st Malaysian astronaut who ... left the earth for space. His return this weekend is surely to be expected by the whole nation. Bet you all he'll get a "title" when he returns- probably not immediately, but soon.

What else had happened for the past few months? Oh, yeahh...also the not-important-not-relevant-at-all-to-us issue about Britney Spears losing custody of her babies. And then there were issues of her rehab trips. That poor darn girl. What was she thinking I wonder..but then again, maybe the drug usage was due to divorce stress.

Ok ok...I shall stop now as they say it's not nice to judge people if you don't know them -in this case, I don't know BRITNEY SPEARS in person, so, I better not say anything - at all.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Hello loyal readers. Yes, I am aware that my entries have not been consistent so far. This is due to the blogger itself-me. FYI, I am an inactive blogger. Well it's probably because I've nothing to share with or talk about or throw in this blog. Don't see why I should post any entries if there are nothing to talk about.

Anyways, it is the 2nd day of the final week of Ramadhan. Ahh...,the puasa week is coming to its end. How silently fast time passes by. Don't feel it at all. I appreciate the "buka puasa" outings I've had with families and friends. Glad I was able to do that with people I love and care. So, many will be traveling back to hometowns, so, have a safe trip back home. Stay cautious and alert on roads at all times. Upon returning back to hometown, there will be many hushed neighborhoods or should I say, housing areas.

So, make sure before leaving your home:

#1-to lock your house

#2-activate security alarm what so ever

#3-give your home address to polices so that they will make rounds to your house/neighborhood to check if everything's ok.(I heard this on the radio). So give your home address to them (that is, of course, the nearest police station to your house).

#4-or..what you can do, you can also inform your neighbors who will be staying put during this Hari Raya, so that they can watch and make sure things are ok from time to time.

#5-don't leave your pet at home if you're leaving for more than 3 days. C'mon, you guys know this. Unattended pets without food and TLC(tender loving care) is just....wrong.So wrong. Send them to the pet hotel(whatever it's called) or with whoever you know who can take care of them for a few days. Or take it along with you.

Alrighty then, I'm done for now. If I don't blog in again before this weekend, have a safe HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI & MAAF ZAHIR & BATIN. Have a great one and happy holidays to everyone~

PILO... what??.....It's "PILOBOLUS"

Hello Everyone! It's been awhile. Anyways, this time I won't be burbling under sigh about...anything cause it's just a waste of both your time and mine. Won't do and bring any good to anyone. Probably filling up my free time now, like I've said earlier in my first entry, at least there are reasons for me to go online.., oh hey, here I go again..BURBLING!

....

Ok so anyways, I want to share something with you all. Have you ever heard of "Pilobolus"(what the...is it a pillow name?). Well, I am definitely not talking about the scientific classification, that "Pilobolus" which is a genus of fungi(whatever genus and fungi each means, I don't really care- I'm never a science fan, no offense). The "Pilobolus"(sound-like-a-pillow-name-to-me) that I'm talking about is a dance company. Maybe some of you have heard about it and are aware of it. Probably you've seen it on TV or heard of it somewhere. But I was only exposed to it 2 weeks ago when my now former colleague shared with me about this "Pilobolus" after watching it on Oprah the previous night. She was so amazed of it I had to see it for myself- right there and then. So I googled about it and discovered it on youtube. Hey you guys should see it, for those who are not aware of its existence at least. All I can say is, Flexibility : Impossible yet Possible. Amazing. Just type in the word "Pilobolus" and you'll get amazing results on it. You'll enjoy it, believe me. Okay alright,..because I want to share this so much with you guys, I'll just paste the url link that I was fascinated with.

This "Pilobolus" also appeared on the latest 2007 Academy Awards.(I love the part which they transformed into a bus with passengers..ooppss...you've got to watch it yourself to get what I mean).

So I'll leave you with this cool "Pilobolus". Hope you enjoy it like I did. Til then, take care peeps.

The Sacrifice I had to make for Priority

I'm back. Yeap.. Couldn't get access to the internet at home since our motherboard was out. Need to send it for repair(luckily it is still under warranty). Anyways, had a little 'reunion' kind of gathering with the buddies yesterday for berbuka puasa. The venue,.. had to be somewhere where we could have a real hang out kind of somewhere good to chill(and also anywhere where I can make reservation in advance). So Marche was it. I did make a reservation at Italiannies as well. Keeping the options open, last minute decision can happen. Both are in The Curve, one on the other end, and the other on the other end. Big deal! Since we've had many luncheons and dinners at Italiannies before, so we decided on Marche.

Arrived there just in time to break fast. Upon arrival, there were long queues everywhere at almost every stall. Since it was my 2nd visit to Marche, so I was familiar with the place and how things go around there. So, instead of joining queues, I went to stalls where there was no one or probably about 2-3 people queuing to get food. We went for the RM38++ buffet(exclusive of beverages and desserts). Ya, it was kind of pricey, but I had a great time because of the company I had.(Thank You Everyone for making it last night. You guys are the best!).

Anyways, this is the last week I'll be working with this executive search firm which I have been its administration executive since June 7th 2007. I got offered to work with OCBC Bank next Monday. But all probational first. No confirmations yet(not keeping my hopes high-which I'm not sure if its a good thing to do or not). Anyways, because I've accepted this offer, I have to forgo my trip to Birmingham which I have been waiting for. Oh man.. Plane ticket had been purchased and I've been countdown-ing months and days for it. But work is priority. I can't just turn down this opportunity for a 2 weeks trip, and when I return home, I'll be jobless. That's even worst, right? So I'm keeping myself positive about what's coming and happening to me: Work is work. I need the money. Some sacrifice, huh?

Til' then, Cheerios~

Lethargic

Ohh...,why do I feel that time is taking its own sweet time to fly? It is moving so slow today. With the day already totally monotonous, I just can't wait til 5 to go home. Doing the same thing in office(not that I'm complaining) of keying in datas into the database, saving this and that, back up-ing this, categorizing that,... am I to be blame if I make a noise abt this here? Fellow colleagues are playing "The Converse-with-less-than-5-words-for-the-day" game today(probably, they too are feeling bored and lethargic).

Anyways, I've been absent on the first 2 starter-days of the week. Therefore, work of those 2 days are all piled up in pending mode, all ready for me to recommence when I come to the office, which is-TODAY!

Last weekend, a friend of my brother's brother, had died in an accident. He was hit by a car. He wasn't driving or even in a vehicle-he was walking. Apparently, he was walking home from the mosque after Terawih prayers when he was hit. He was only 15 years old. May his soul rest in peace and be in good place and amongst good souls. My deepest condolences to his family.

Til' my next entry, take care people. Cheerios~

Health-Alarm #1- Effects of Cold Water

For those who like to drink cold water, this entry is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal. A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive. Spread this, let people be aware of it, for you may save lives.

It's never too late. Til' then, take care and have a good day.
