The Sacrifice I had to make for Priority

I'm back. Yeap.. Couldn't get access to the internet at home since our motherboard was out. Need to send it for repair(luckily it is still under warranty). Anyways, had a little 'reunion' kind of gathering with the buddies yesterday for berbuka puasa. The venue,.. had to be somewhere where we could have a real hang out kind of somewhere good to chill(and also anywhere where I can make reservation in advance). So Marche was it. I did make a reservation at Italiannies as well. Keeping the options open, last minute decision can happen. Both are in The Curve, one on the other end, and the other on the other end. Big deal! Since we've had many luncheons and dinners at Italiannies before, so we decided on Marche.

Arrived there just in time to break fast. Upon arrival, there were long queues everywhere at almost every stall. Since it was my 2nd visit to Marche, so I was familiar with the place and how things go around there. So, instead of joining queues, I went to stalls where there was no one or probably about 2-3 people queuing to get food. We went for the RM38++ buffet(exclusive of beverages and desserts). Ya, it was kind of pricey, but I had a great time because of the company I had.(Thank You Everyone for making it last night. You guys are the best!).

Anyways, this is the last week I'll be working with this executive search firm which I have been its administration executive since June 7th 2007. I got offered to work with OCBC Bank next Monday. But all probational first. No confirmations yet(not keeping my hopes high-which I'm not sure if its a good thing to do or not). Anyways, because I've accepted this offer, I have to forgo my trip to Birmingham which I have been waiting for. Oh man.. Plane ticket had been purchased and I've been countdown-ing months and days for it. But work is priority. I can't just turn down this opportunity for a 2 weeks trip, and when I return home, I'll be jobless. That's even worst, right? So I'm keeping myself positive about what's coming and happening to me: Work is work. I need the money. Some sacrifice, huh?

Til' then, Cheerios~
